QBS - Description and Features
|
The Quickset Bricking System (QBS) is a precision expandable
multi-steel ID bricking machine. The incorporation and use of
adjustable pogo sticks, an aluminum arch of 180-degrees and a
precision expandable systematic mobile support platform allows
the QBS the means to precisely enlarge to work a targeted group
of steel IDs from a particular system size. The QBS is manufactured in four standard group sizes. (Reference: Table above). The QBS 910 and QBS 1011 have a precision enlargement capacity of 12 inches in diameter from their retracted position. The QBS 1113 and QBS 1416 have a precision enlargement capacity of 24 inches in diameter from their retracted position. Also, with the QBS precision expandable leg components for vertical lift, enables the system to obtain exact equipment centering in different types of furnace equipment conditions and designs (refer to: the Equipment General Arrangement below). The Quickset Bricking System set up time is short, quick and easy. The QBS has excellent maneuverability and mobility. The QBS will allow overhead brick installation footage up to six feet comfortably before having to be repositioned. The Ratchet & Yoke Lockdown assembly for the Arch Support Carriage (ASC) will rigidly secure the arch and ASC to the support platform. The QBS is designed to start installing brick off of a straight head wall from either end. Dam and lifter areas can be installed from the same set up running the barrel area, utilizing our three sizes of adjustable Pogo Sticks.
